One of a series of works on paper that capture the earthy ochre tones of Golden Gully, a historical gold mining reef at Hill End. Painted plein air from the depths of the reef amidst the sculptural turrets and towers of eroded earth that create this otherworldly landscape. A small tree has found a foothold on the crevices of this otherworldly place.
