Losing My Place

This exhibition was a love letter to Victoria and a small tribute to the huge sacrifices that were made by Melburnians in 2020.

It was held in my studio gallery in January 2021 and was also available online

“Losing My Place is a series of small oil paintings that recalls memories of the places I love and longed to visit again while Melbourne was separated from regional Victoria by a ‘Ring of Steel’ in 2020. It’s inspired by fleeting moments from picnic outings, country drives, holidays and day trips recalled from a lifetime of experiences in the Victorian countryside. These small works created a tiny lens to explore the spaciousness, glowing light and energetic hum of the Victorian landscape.”
