Beyers Cottage
Beyers Cottage
Description
The avenue of enormous and ancient poplar trees tower like sentinels over Hill End . During my autumn stay their leaves turned more golden by the day and whispered in the wind. The tiny Beyers Cottage was dwarfed in their presence.
This painterly painting was commenced with plein air charcoal sketches and completed in the studio.
Acrylic on stretched canvas
67cm wide x 78cm high
An original artwork by Michele Owen painted in 2022
